In the spirit of celebrating minor victories, I’m sharing some of my recent published articles. I know I haven’t blogged much lately, but I promise there are quite a few things in the works right now. To tide yourself over, feel free to watch this unboxing video I made to remedy the dirth of such videos on the Internet. I’m not yet sure what type of content best suits the video format, so I’m happy to use any crutch available to me.
As for my writing, I recently interviewed a local men’s ware vintage pop up store, The Midtown Dandy, who often graces my market (The HBG Flea) for Ross King Power. We had a lot of fun taking picture with the Dandy crew and Andrew, the owner, had a lot to say about the current state of fashion that my readers will probably find interesting. You can read the full interview here.
On the topic of the fashion industry, I wrote a truncated version of my essential sustainable fashion series for another vintage store, Stash. I included much of the research I did about the fashion industry with a particular focus on the positive aspects of vintage clothing. This is partly in preparation for a third installment of my series, focusing on strategies fashion lovers can employ to enact positive change. It can be found on Stash’s website.
